We are looking for volunteers for two exciting summer opportunities.

*Please note: for these two positions only, the 30-euro donation is optional.

Kids Summer Camp

Help us create an unforgettable week of fun, learning and friendship for children from refugee and migrant families.

​

We're looking for volunteers who:

​

• Enjoy working with children;

• 16 year+ (16-18 - parental consent needed);

• Are responsible, enthusiastic and proactive;

• Work well as part of a team;

• Want to help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment;

• Are available for the week (24–28 August) or at least 2 days (16 hours).;

• Are comfortable communicating in English (Portuguese is a plus but not required).
   

Activities include games, arts and crafts, sports, creative workshops, outings and much more.

Community Life

Events volunteer

​

 

Wednesdays (Community Dinner) and/or Fridays (Family Friday).​

Help us create welcoming spaces where refugees, migrants and local community members can connect, build friendships and experience belonging.

​

We're looking for volunteers who:

​

• Enjoy meeting people from different cultures;

• Are friendly, welcoming and reliable;

• Have a heart for serving others and working in a team;

• Can commit 5–10 hours per week during the weeks agreed;

• Have a good level of English (Portuguese is an advantage).
   

Volunteers support participant welcome, event setup, meal service, children's activities during Family Friday and the overall running of our community events.
