summary:
As Facilitator for the Women’s Meetings, Better Together at the Lisbon Project, you will be responsible to help plan and attend women’s workshops and social gatherings. Your main goal will be to help create a community of women that can rely on one another and find friends amongst people from different cultures. Better Together organises bi-weekly meetups encouraging engagement, connection, and friendship amongst the women during the workshops and social gatherings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Be part of the planning team to help create and facilitate workshops.
Assist in planning and executing social gatherings for women.
Find partners or guest volunteers to conduct workshops for women.
Be available to attend all social gathering or timeously inform the coordinator otherwise.
Be open and present to create meaningful relationships with the women and be genuinely interested in their well-being.
Inspire and motivate women to participate.
Following the minimum performance guidelines (MPGs). To be consulted internally with the position's supervisor.
Requirements:
Must be a woman.
Have some experience in working in groups.
Excellent communicative and interpersonal skills, including effective listening.
Must be motivated, innovative, creative, and resourceful.
Must have the ability to solve problems creatively and flexibly as they arise.
Must be willing to work as part of a team, engaging personality and take initiative.
Cultural awareness and ability to interact with people from different cultures, genders, religions, and backgrounds.
