Summary
There are many reasons for moving to a different country. Some people move seeking a better job and education, while others flee from human rights violations, persecution, and violent conflicts. Whatever the reason and the status, migrants or refugees face some challenges not only on the journey to the new country but also when they arrive, such as discrimination, labour exploitation, language barriers that can lead to isolation, and others.
Aiming to tackle these challenges and integrate and empower migrants and refugees, at the Lisbon Project, every week our team organize various events and activities part of our four programs and one department: Community Life, Education, Employability and Social Care.
As a videography/photography key member, you will be part of a team eager to have a positive impact. Your lens will capture our events, the warmth of our community, and the triumphs of those overcoming obstacles. Your videos and photos will serve as a powerful tool to showcase our work, raise awareness, and inspire others to join us.
By joining our team, you'll not only sharpen your media skills but also contribute to something meaningful. You'll also work with professional marketers who will give you portfolio assistance, marketing training, and recommendations/testimonials for your future projects and websites.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Taking photos and capturing videos
Event attendance
Simple photo editing (light, contrast)
Video Editing for YouTube and social media (captions, sound, cropping, light color grading)
Event attendance
Maintain short deadlines for social media.
Uploading photos and videos to our cloud.
Following the minimum performance guidelines (MPGs). To be consulted internally with the position's supervisor.
Requirements
Good English command
Own equipment (camera and computer)
