Engagement Coordinator

Time Commitment: 20 to 25 hours p/Week - Minimum of 6 months

Reports to: People & Culture Manager

Start Date: July 2026

As part of our people and culture team you will be playing a vital part in supporting our team members integration as we foster the mission and culture of the Lisbon Project. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Conduct onboarding and exit processes of team members.

  • Organize team events for the volunteers and interns. 

  • Provide ongoing input, information, and materials (as requested) that support the LP internal communication efforts.  

  • Participate in the continuous quality improvement and data-driven decision-making processes to assess the efficacy of the P&C policies and processes. 

  • Ensure adherence to data collection requirements. 

  • Attend weekly P&C Team meetings. 

  • Availability to support the Community. 

  • Following the minimum performance guidelines (MPGs). To be consulted internally with the position's supervisor. 


Requirements:


  • Fluent in English.

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to follow deadlines.  

  • Communications skills.

  • Relationship management.

  • Ability to work well independently and as a member of a highly integrated and diverse team.

  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and manage conflict.

  • Ability to think and plan strategically.

  • Cultural awareness and ability to interact with people from different cultures and backgrounds. 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Willingness to work with your own personal computer. 

  • Must engage in regular direct contact with the community.
