Summary:


The Lisbon Project is a non-profit organization that exists to empower and integrate the lives of migrants and refugees in the city of Lisbon. The mission of the People and Culture (P&C) Department is to ensure that anyone who integrates our team will know: “You are valued!”

As the Recruitment Coordinator you will be responsible to aid the People & House Manager manage the recruitment process. From screening candidates and taking care of their documentation to identifying sources for the talent we are looking for. The role involves assessing and meeting the Lisbon Project’s needs through the recruitment, placement and retention of volunteers/interns.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Managing the job descriptions on the external website.

  • Screening applications .

  • Developing and fostering partnerships to address the Lisbon Project's recruitment needs.

  • Updating the organizational database.

  • Help oversee all programming related to volunteers and interns.

  • Overseeing the onboarding process of interns and volunteers.

  • Following the minimum performance guidelines (MPGs). To be consulted internally with the position's supervisor.


Requirements:


  • Detail oriented personality with strong organisational skills and the ability to follow deadlines.

  • Experience in administrative work or ease of working with data management.

  • Cultural awareness and ability to interact with people from different cultures and backgrounds.

  • Fluency in English

  • Willingness to work with your own personal computer.
